About this map

Jensen occupies the northwestern corner of this mid-1960s survey, situated along the vital banks of the Green River. The landscape is a study in contrasting environments, from the low-lying wetlands of the Stewart Lake Waterfowl Management Area and Stewart Lake to the prominent geological shelf of The Rim Rock. The river dominates the western margin, joined by Ashley Creek, while the eastern portion of the quadrangle is defined by a series of drainages and mesas, including Kane Hollow and Sage Bench.
