Wrangell-Saint Elias National Park and the Wrangell-St. Elias Wilderness dominate this high-altitude landscape in the Wrangell Mountains. The terrain is characterized by massive ice and glacial melt systems, with the Middle Fork Glacier in the north and the Russell Glacier appearing in the southeast corner. These ice bodies feed an intricate drainage network including Flood Creek and Skolai Creek, the latter of which flows into Upper Skolai Lake at the bottom of the sheet.
