Extensive networks of an unnamed Levee and numerous Spoil Bank features indicate a period of intensive land reclamation and agricultural preparation within the Florida interior. These artificial structures bisect the natural flow of Gomez Creek and Cowbone Creek, illustrating the era's engineering efforts to control the local hydrology.

The presence of dozens of a Flowing Well scattered across the township sections suggests a reliance on artesian water sources for irrigation or livestock. In the southern portion of the sheet, the terrain retains more of its natural character near Jernigans Pond and the winding course of Cow Creek.
