Marten Cr flows through the northeast corner of this high-latitude terrain, where the landscape is defined by the strict alignment of the Public Land Survey System. This 2018 survey reveals a territory almost entirely devoid of modern development, structured instead by the invisible boundaries of T15s R41e and T16s R41e. To the south, Pass Cr meanders through the drainages, marking one of the few named topographical features in an area dominated by unnamed peaks and ridges. The absence of roads, buildings, or human settlements emphasizes the character of the Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area as a vast interior expanse where natural drainages like T17s R41e provide the primary geographical orientation.
