The Flathead Indian Reservation boundary defines this high-altitude landscape in Missoula County, where the Jocko Tribal Primitive Area and the Mission Mountain Wilderness meet. A complex network of drainage basins is shown in detail, anchored by the Upper Jocko Lake and Lower Jocko Lake. These water bodies feed the North Fork Jocko River, which snakes through the western portion of the map.

Industry in this predominantly natural area is represented by a Gravel Pit located along the eastern edge of the Lolo National Forest. The topography is marked by significant peaks and basins, from Fawn Peak in the east to the remote high-country wetlands of the Meadows and Blue Jay Spring in the south.
