Topographically, the area is dominated by the Continental Divide, which separates the headwaters of the Fraser River and West Fork Clear Creek. Notable landmarks include the Empire Guard Sta, the Rainbow Rancho Fish Hatchery, and the St Marys Glacier Lodge near Alice. The map preserves the routes of the Ute Trail and various Jeep Trails, which provide access to remote peaks like James Peak and Parry Peak, as well as alpine waters such as Loch Lomond.
