Five Points serves as the central hub for a network of rural roads in this portion of Pickaway County, where Five Points Pike and TWP RD 183 intersect. The landscape is defined by the winding course of Buskirk Cr and its many tributaries, which cut through the agricultural fields and woodlots of Monroe Township. A significant number of small, family-named burial grounds are preserved across the terrain, including the Lewis Farm Cem and Curt Knisley Farm Cem, providing valuable touchpoints for genealogical research in this long-settled farming region. To the south, the terrain descends toward the waters of Deer Creek Lake, near the community of Grange Hall. This 2016 survey documents the enduring rural character of the area, from the small settlement of Era in the northwest to the secluded Dunlap Pond Number One in the southeast.
