1970 Map of Garcon Point

USGS Topo · Published 1992

About this map

Garcon Point and the surrounding coastal waters of Santa Rosa County define this landscape at the intersection of Escambia Bay, East Bay, and Pensacola Bay. This 1970 record, with later revisions, shows the development of Gulf Breeze and Woodlawn Beach along the southern shoreline of Santa Rosa Sound. The interior of the point remains largely open, marked by a Jeep Trail leading toward the southern tip and the small settlement of White.
