Security Cove dominates the southeastern shoreline of this coastal Alaskan landscape where the waters of the Pacific Ocean meet the steep, rising terrain of the Bethel Census Area. The topography is defined by prominent coastal peaks and rock formations, including the sharp rise of Pinnacle Rock to the north and Tokomarik Mtn overlooking the southern marshlands. To the west, the entrance to Kuskokwim Bay is marked by Castle Rock, a distinct landmark near the shoreline.
