Lorena and Hewitt anchor this mid-century landscape south of Waco, where the agricultural past meets the expanding suburban footprints of Robinson and Woodway. The terrain is defined by a series of parallel waterways, including Bull Hide Creek, Castleman Creek, and Chambers Creek, which drain the prairie toward the southeast. These creeks historically dictated the placement of early settlements and transportation corridors, notably the St Louis Southwestern RR and the Missouri Kansas Texas RR, which bisect the region.
