Little Indian River flows through the southwestern corner of this interior Alaskan landscape, characterized by significant elevation changes and a dense network of seasonal drainages. The Big Cr drainage system dominates the eastern half of the map, cutting through the high country as it moves north toward the t6n r25e boundary. This 2016 survey reflects the remote nature of the Yukon-Koyukuk region, where the terrain is primarily defined by natural hydrography rather than human settlement or infrastructure. The elevation contours reveal a series of ridges and valleys that dictate the flow of smaller, unnamed tributaries into the primary watercourses. This map provides a detailed view of the untouched geography between the Indian River and the various forks of Big Cr during the early 21st century.
