Human presence is sparse, marked primarily by a singular Mine on the western slopes of its namesake peak and the isolated Cling Cabin to the northeast. Navigation through the Mazatzal Mts relied on a network of rugged paths, including the Soldier Camp Trail (pack) and the Brushy Basin Trail (4wd). Water sources such as Mine Mountain Spring, Fisher Spring, and Wata Spring provided essential stopovers for travelers and miners in this arid environment.
