Moxa is the central point of interest in this section of southwestern Wyoming, where the high desert terrain of Chrisman Bench meets the drainage systems of the Green River Basin. The landscape is defined by its complex water management infrastructure, including the Fabian and Tyler Ditch and Ziegler Ditch, which redirect water through this arid region. These irrigation channels, along with the Hams Fork river, illustrate the historical and ongoing efforts to support ranching and local settlement in the high plains. Further north, the elevation rises toward the flat-topped Chrisman Bench, while the eastern portion is dissected by seasonal drainage features such as Sevenmile Wash and Zieglers Wash. The map also traces a significant stretch of U.S. Route 30, the historic highway that follows the natural contours of the land, providing a critical corridor through Lincoln and Sweetwater counties.
