The rolling plains along the border of Hall Co and Childress Co are defined by a complex network of seasonal drainages and rural farm-to-market roads. This high-plains landscape is bisected by numerous watercourses, including Rustlers Cr, N Baylor Cr, and S Baylor Cr, which carve through the terrain as they flow toward the larger Baylor Cr and Cox Cr systems.

Evidence of the area's pioneer heritage remains anchored in the southern portion of the quadrangle near the junction of FM 94 and Co RD 2. Genealogists will find the Tell Baptist Cem and Tell Methodist Cem to be significant landmarks, representing the spiritual and social foundations of the early Tell community. The area's agricultural character is maintained by a strict grid of county roads, such as Co RD 28 and Co RD T, which provide access to the expansive rangelands.
