USGS Topo · Published 1963

About this map

Wellsville Mountains and the western edge of Cache Valley define the landscape of this 1962 topographic study. The agricultural character of the region is evident in the extensive irrigation network, including the Wellsville Mendon Upper Canal and the Wellsville Mendon Lower Canal, which draw from the Little Bear River to support the valley floor. To the east, the Union Pacific railroad corridor links the settlements of Mendon and Wellsville, passing through Greens Corner as it traverses the fertile plains.
