Atchafalaya River currents and intricate Louisiana bayou networks define this 1960s study of the Atchafalaya Basin Floodway. The landscape is dominated by extractive industry and hydraulic management, most notably within the Happytown Oil and Gas Field and its southern extension, South Happytown Oil and Gas Field. These industrial sites are punctuated by numerous Gas Wells and pipelines cutting through the dense bottomlands.
