1893 Map of Whitewater

USGS Topo · Published 1905

About this map

Glacial topography and marshland dominate this late nineteenth-century portrait of southeastern Wisconsin, centered on the Whitewater and Palmyra areas. The Chicago Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad Prairie Du Chien Division provides the primary industrial artery, cutting diagonally through the landscape between the Scuppernong River and the undulating terrain of La Grange.
