About this map

The Sargent Icefield dominates the western interior of this coastal landscape, feeding a complex network of massive ice flows toward the sea. These include the prominent Contact Glacier, Nellie Juan Glacier, and the Princeton Glacier, which descend toward the deep inlets of Prince William Sound. The topographic record illustrates the direct relationship between these glacial systems and the carved waterways of Blue Fiord and Nassau Fiord.
