1958 Map of Five Points

USGS Topo · Published 1972

About this map

The agricultural heart of the Virginia Military District unfolds across these central Ohio townships during the late 1950s. The small settlements of Five Points and Era serve as local hubs, connected by a network of rural roads that often reflect old property lines and mill routes, such as the Whiteside-Lister Mill Road and the Mc Cafferty-Crownover Mill Road. In the northwest, the Baltimore and Ohio railroad cuts across the landscape, passing near Era and crossing the upper reaches of the drainage system.
