Oregon Butte and its vital Oregon Butte Lookout command the high ground of the Wenha-Tucannon Wilderness in this mid-1990s survey of the Blue Mountains. The landscape is defined by a series of prominent divides, including French Ridge, Dickinson Ridge, and the Mount Misery Ridge, which separate the deep incisions of Panjab Creek and the Butte Creek drainage.
