About this map

Wallsburg Ridge and the Wasatch Range dominate this interior landscape along the border of Utah and Wasatch Counties. The high-elevation terrain is defined by complex drainage systems, where Main Creek and Little Hobble Creek collect runoff from numerous canyons including Sams Canyon and Berryport Canyon. Within the southern reaches of the Uinta National Forest, topographic markers such as Rattlesnake Mtn and Bald Knoll overlook a network of trails and primitive roads including the Little Valley Sheep Canyon Trail and the South Fork to Packard Canyon Trail. The northern valley floors around Round Valley show a transition from the steep slopes of Slipper Hollow and Smooth Hollow toward more accessible benches like Balsam Bench and Soldier Bench.
