1988 Map of Hewolf Mountain

USGS Topo · Published 1988

About this map

The boundary between the Flathead Indian Reservation and the Lolo National Forest bisects this remote Montana landscape, following the high drainage divide. High peaks dominate the topography, including the central summit of Hewolf Mountain and Squaw Peak to the southwest. The terrain is defined by a series of steep drainages, such as the North Fork Valley Creek and Hewolf Creek, which flow through deep canyons toward the larger Valley Creek system.
